Privacy Policy — Meetwell

Last updated: 1 November 2026

1. Introduction

Meetwell is a Windows desktop application designed to help users organize work tasks, prepare for meetings, and manage work-related tools and materials.

This Privacy Policy explains how the application handles information when you use it.

The application is designed to operate locally on your Windows device. Based on its intended design, it does not send user-created content to external servers.

2. Information We Handle

The application may process information that you choose to enter, create, or manage within it, such as:

This information is used solely to provide the application's intended functionality.

You should avoid entering sensitive personal information or confidential business information unless you are comfortable storing it locally on your device.

3. Calendar Integrations (Google and Microsoft)

If you choose to connect a Google or Microsoft account, Meetwell asks you to sign in with that provider and uses the read-only access you grant to read your calendar events.

For Google Calendar, Meetwell reads the names of your calendars and, for each event, its ID, title, start and end time, status (for example confirmed or cancelled), and your own response to the invitation (accepted, declined or not yet answered), so that it can skip events you declined. Meetwell does not read other attendees’ details, event descriptions or locations.

This information is used only to schedule and prepare your meetings in the application. It is stored locally on your device and is not sent to the developer or to third parties. The connection is made directly between your device and Google or Microsoft, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to it.

You can revoke Meetwell’s access at any time in your Google or Microsoft account settings.

Meetwell’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Collection and Transmission

The application is designed not to collect or transmit your task information, notes, meeting details, or other user-created content to the developer or external servers.

The application does not intentionally transmit user-created content for advertising, profiling, or third-party analytics.

This statement applies to the application itself and does not cover separate services or features that may be introduced in future versions. Any material changes to data processing will be reflected in an updated Privacy Policy.

5. Local Storage and Data Retention

Information created in the application is stored locally on your Windows device, to the extent required by the application's functionality.

The information remains on your device until you delete it or remove it through the application's available controls or local storage mechanisms.

The developer does not maintain a separate cloud database of your application content.

Please note that Windows backup tools, synchronization services, or other software installed on your device may independently copy or synchronize local files. Such activities are outside the application's direct control.

6. Data Sharing and Third Parties

The application is not designed to share user-created content with the developer, advertisers, or other third parties.

The application does not intentionally disclose locally stored user content to third parties.

Downloading, purchasing, or updating the application through the Microsoft Store may involve Microsoft's own services and data practices. Those activities are governed by Microsoft's applicable terms and privacy information.

7. Website and Purchases

This website is hosted on Vercel, which may process technical information such as IP address and browser details in its server logs, in line with Vercel’s privacy policy.

Payments made on the website are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects the payment details you enter at checkout and handles them under its own privacy policy. The developer does not see or store your full payment card details.

The website does not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.

8. Data Security

Because application content is stored locally, users should protect their Windows accounts and devices against unauthorized access.

The developer aims to limit data processing to what is necessary for the application's functionality. However, no software or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are encouraged to keep Windows up to date and use appropriate device security measures.

9. Your Choices and Control Over Data

You remain in control of the information you enter into the application.

Depending on the application's available functionality, you can:

The developer does not hold a separate copy of locally stored application content that can be accessed or deleted on your behalf.

10. Children's Privacy

The application is intended as a general productivity tool. It is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.

The developer does not intentionally collect children's personal information through external servers.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application's functionality, data handling practices, or applicable legal requirements change.

The latest version will be made available at the location where this policy is published. The date at the top indicates when the policy was last updated.
